Dr. Ackerman is the best! When our dermatologist decided to limit his practice to patients with cancer we tried several others he recommended and were not happy. We then discovered Dr. Ackerman and she is amazing, competent, knowledgable, and efficient. She is personable and listens. My husband and I have seen her dozens of times and fly from Oregon for our appointments (we flew from the Caribbean to see her for years prior to moving to OR). Dr. Ackerman is a brilliant physician, an outstanding diagnostician and a compassionate professional. She was kind enough to schedule an appointment for me on very short notice despite a jam-packed patient load. As a stem cell transplant recipient, I believed I faced an emergency medical situation that required immediate attention . Dr. Ackerman is smart, professional, and truly cares about her patients. After 15+ years of having a rash, she diagnosed me with one look. When the biopsies came back, she was correct. She is amazing! I won’t go anywhere else!!
