I lived at Lindsay Oaks Apartments for two years and had a very disappointing experience when moving out. Despite leaving my unit spotless—with everything in working order—they kept my entire security deposit and claimed there were “damages” to things like blinds and a light switch that were in perfect condition. They even claimed I left behind trash and furniture, which is completely false. I just moved to this apartment last week. It’s a small one bedroom apartment and perfect for students. Pros: The maintenance persons (Ben and Hunter) are super friendly and very responsible. I have to give a five star for their service. The rent is very much student friendly! It’s a bright place with a lot of daylight. Big closet. Enough space for pantry and also bookshelves. Absolute worst place to live. Skiles management will take your entire deposit despite cleaning and replacing everything so do not expect anything back from a 1000$ deposit. A truck rammed into the apartments and cars multiple times. The walls are paper thin. They were built in the 50's and are not suitable for people to live in. I would rather live in a homeless shelter than ever rent from them again. Do not be fooled by the low price, because they will hit you with expensive utility fees every month.
