Dr. Dokou listens to everything her patient says, asks followup questions, and then explains in terms you understand the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. I felt very comfortable with her from the first appointment and appreciate how caring but straightforward she is. I've struggled to find an OBGYN in happy with and am thrilled to have found Dr. Dokou.
While I am beyond grateful that Dr. Dokou safely delivered by son via c-section, her poor bedside manor and careless action lead to sever trauma that over a year later I am still in therapy for. She did everything technically right, yet cause so much psychological damage. Dr. Dokou was the on call doctor when I went to the hospital for delivery. I expected a bit more sensitivity and care in the procedure and bedside manner.
It’s always a 5 star experience with Dr Dokou. She’s thorough, she compassionate, she listens to my issues and tries her best to help me solve them.
