I stayed here for a conference. My room was in a fenced garden area. It was really peaceful and quiet. The inn is historic and beautiful--I can see why people have weddings here. My bed was very comfortable and I slept great which isn't always the case at other hotels. The desk is staffed 24/7 and the staff are very helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. Parking nearby is $10 for overnight which is so reasonable compared to other lots or hotels.
Beds are comfy, however surfaces are sticky, and it sounds like a pack of elephants are rooming above us.With the exception of Darius, who was so helpful and delightful, we found the staff to be, shall we say less than charming.
Was deeply disappointed. The hotel has character & history but is worn down. The furniture, paint on the walls, cigarette butts on the ground and elevator were sadly taken care of.
Amazing Historic Hotel. Easy walk to Allianz Amphitheater and Other Richmond destinations
Stayed here for a couple nights and had a good experience overall. The room was clean, check-in was easy, and the staff was friendly. Location was convenient too. Would stay here again.
