I go there regularly. Whenever I walk in, I am acknowledged with a friendly greeting from the staff. I have tried almost every item on the menu and have not been disappointed so far. The restaurant was first opened in 1922 and maintains the original decor with a lot of local history books and photos. Great service and the food was awsome!!! The decor is beautiful. New owners and they have done a great job. Best bakery and homemade candy too.
wish we woulda saw the review before our stop at this disappointing establishment. the paper sign outside in crayon should have tipped us off to the lack of care they provided. actually our two sandwiches, drinks, and stale dessert cost nearly $30! it seemed like we were bothering the waitress with our presence there. one of us got up and looked around for her when our drinks were empty for more than 5 minutes. take a lesson from us: whatever problem they have trying to be in a customer service business, you pay for it. keep... read more
if u have ten bucks to waste on a sandwich and drink, this is your place. neat old place but the sandwich i got was cold, supposed to be hot, and the sandwich meat had so much fat 'n gristle that i almost lost a cap. time for this dump to close.
