I had gastric bypass surgery last Tuesday and on Friday I started experiencing excruciating pains in the top part of my stomach which got progressively worse Saturday so I went to the ER here in Lindale and from the moment we walked in throughout my whole 5 hours there Dr Arrington and all the nurses were soooooo nice and had the best bedside manner. Nurse Linda was once again, very rude, unfriendly, uncaring, and rough with my wife. As a patient myself, I've experienced the same uncaring, unfriendly, attitude. She made me feel like she didn't like me either and like I was putting her out.

TL;DR: CHRISTUS Lindale may offer same-day pay discounts, but in my experience you have to dig, call multiple people, and press the staff just to uncover the actual price. If I had accepted what I was initially told at face value, I would have been charged more simply because no one clearly explained the payment terms. A common refrain that too often goes unnoticed, and something I have experienced time and time again with CHRISTUS and other healthcare organizations, is the complete lack of transparency around the true cost ... read more
Recently visited and was lucky enough to have Kat as my receptionist. She went above and beyond to ensure I was cared for before even asking if I had insurance or if I could pay. My Nurse and doctor were also very professional and comforting. Great experience
