After seeing Dr. Hunt for a second opinion regarding my conditions, I chose to stay with my primary rheumatologist for continuity of care. Less than 2 years later when my primary rheumatologist left his practice, I reached out to Dr. Hunt to follow up with her. I was called back by the receptionist who informed me that Dr. Hunt would not continue to see me as a patient due to having her as a second opinion and not deciding to switch to her when I first saw her.
