I have been seeing Dr. Grover for 20 years. I left once and regretted it with one visit to another ob-gyn. She is extremely professional and knows her stuff. She was able to catch some issues that I had and make a plan to fix them quickly.
I love this woman and have been going to her for many years. She is knowledgeable and professional. She is also informative, concerned, and friendly. Perhaps because she is female - at least from my personal experience - Dr. Grover has an empathy and understanding beyond that of the vast majority of her male colleagues.
My entire experience with the doctor was a nightmare. Possibly the worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen. She was rude and judgmental from the very beginning of the appointment. On top of that, I don’t think she knows what she’s talking about. Once she kept pushing additional procedures and then even surgery I decided to get the opinions of additional doctors. Dr. Grover was AMAZING! After years of suffering with severe Endometriosis, she immediately took action and performed my hysterectomy. She did an amazing job! You can barely even see my scar. It was the first time since my long time Dr. who retired, that I felt like my Dr. was actually listening to me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Grover to anyone!
I switched to Dr. Grover and my first appointment with her was wonderful. She 'listened' to my complaint about another colleague. She also called to follow up with me the same day to discuss the medicine I was currently using and offered me some options (which left me in control of the decision). She also gave me a sample of a different medicine to try as well. She was very approachable. When I complained of menopausal weight gain she didn't sugar coat that it would be tough to lose the weight!
I only visited Dr. Grover once, but that was the last time for me. It's always nerve-wracking to see a new gynocologist, and my experience with her was evident of that. I felt that she was both judgemental and condescending the whole time. Yes, she provided me with information, but it was in such a way that I was afraid to ask another question in fear of sounding stupid and/or getting a condescending response back. I just didn't get a warm, friendly vibe from her.
