I sought out Dr. Chung specifically for menopause treatment because she was listed as a certified menopause practitioner. Given the conflicting information about the safety of HRT, I scheduled a consultation to gain clarity. However, I was surprised by her dismissive, irritable, and almost hostile attitude toward my questions. Avoid at all costs if you care about your health. She didn’t listen to me, or my symptoms and disregarded tests. Misdiagnosed for 2 months. Had a 7 cm uterine mass,vaginal bleeding, and elevated ca125 and was told “no clinical reason to be seen soon”Yes, cancer is a reason to be marked stat, btw. Delayed my care as my aggressive cancer spread.
She is the best md.

She did a great job. I can’t imagine why anyone find her other than professional and knowledgeable.
Dr. Chung was very accommodating about my requests and explained pros and cons to medication and let me decide. I respect her knowledge and also her compassionate side in understanding that a patient may know more about what works for their own bodies, which may not be consistent with statistics, medical assumptions and tests.
Does not advocate for her patients. Came to her for a d&c. Could not do it without general anesthesia. I wanted an epidural, no one could give me a medical reason why I could not have an epidural. It is a longer recovery time, that's not my fault. She seems kind of young. I like the good old days.
