Ok, I'm here for all the other parents who are nervous about placing their children in one of these facilities. I just want to say, my daughter came home so much happier than when she left! The therapist was awesome and just there for everyone involved. My daughter (who's shy and autistic) actually did well and felt safe here. I just want to reassure any parent that this is a good place for your child. THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF MY DAUGHTER! AND HELPING US!!
Been here 6 time in the adolescence girls unit mags for things ranging from SI to self harm to eating disorders some staff was kind and others well… nurse Peggy when I was there was rude refused as needed meds when needed and when I complained that my self inflicted injuries might have been getting infected I sat at the nurses station for about two hours before being told to go to bed without them ever being looked at or anything but some staff went above and beyond miss amanda was an absolute god send all in all I would fin... read more
I was at this place for 4 months. And I wanted to say that there was good and bad. Im going to touch on the bad first the unit manager was disrespectful and some felt like she had favorites. The level system wasn't very good either, you would have a lot of peaurse on it and it was very overwhelming for a child with mental health because of the expectations.
