Our rental from Lincoln Real Estate (in one of their buildings in Northampton) has been a great disappointment for many reasons, but at the top of the list has been their lack of consideration for what in legal terms is called, "quiet enjoyment." The current owner installed dropped ceilings in all the units for electrical purposes, lending a claustrophobic feel to each apartment. Lincoln RE was transparent from the beginning to end of my application process for the apt that was leased to me. I appreciated being informed how their application process works --that they continue to show their apts (including the one I applied for and really wanted!) until I submitted my orginial signed and notarized lease and 3 cashier bank checks for 1st, last & security. Even though they sent me a lease for the apt I wanted, they were VERY clear in telling me that they would continue to show the apt until I submitted ... read more

If I could go lower than 1 star, I would. Literally had to do their job for them, wasted so much of my time, and was treated very unfairly in regards to trying to close a lease
