For anyone looking for a new Dr, I just had the best experience at Lincoln Internal Medicine. The front office staff was so nice, welcoming, and super friendly. I saw Dr Makieve and he was equally as nice, friendly, and welcoming. He addressed all of my concerns and made me feel comfortable, which is fantastic! This office needs to go back to medical school, they can't read lab results. I did urine and blood. The urine came out wierd but the blood came out showing everything I take within limits. I had bladder surgery about 2 months ago that may be the reason for weird urine results. Then they have me do another blood surum test that came out negative because they checked for medications I don't take. So after 3 years of prescribing my meds they cut me off cold turkey. Dr. Najmabadi is an excellent physician. She listens well and has solved some difficult blood pressure problems for me. I have no trouble getting an appointment when it is needed sooner rather than later. Very pleased with her and her staff.
My experience with Dr. Mackieve was great. First, I was able to get an appointment with him the same week I got out of the hospital. He answered all my many questions and spent considerable time with me. I am very appreciative of his medical knowledge and his 'bed side manner'. Thank you Dr. Mackieve.
Old school, one Doctor, one PA, 4-5 staff. Show up on time and you will be seen on time. No waiting. Doctor Makieve takes just enough time to address your medical concerns: no more, no less. No computer in the examination room. But he has access to all of your Sutter records. The doctor prepares for your visit and seems to see one patient at a time instead of shuffling back and forth between 2 or 3 while you sit and wait. Most things done with paper instead of EMR.
