Approved me for FMLA and then contacted me after I already understood I was on paid time off and my job was protected and told me that they were going to redact it and I didn’t qualify. No responsibility taken or offer of assistance for the time that I understood I was covered. Just out of luck and we apologize for the mistake -that was it. No attempt to try and get me approved with additional information -the case worker that called me obviously had already made her decision - very bad experience
