Saw mixed reviews of this place so I’ll weigh in on those issues. Yes this is an old property but I would not describe it as rundown. It is on par with similar properties in Europe-the common areas are quaint and well decorated. The rooms have a mix of antique and modern touches which lack a clear design or vision. So many different types of cuisine here. All are delicious especially the burgers.
The Lincklaen House is absolutely beautiful, with the kind of classic, historic charm that makes you feel like you've stepped into a different era. The interior is so lovely and full of character that it really doesn't need much in the way of additional decoration to make an event feel special.
