Dr. Was very rude, and did not like the eye exam results from the technician. She basically said I was lying when I said I could see clearly. She stated I cheated on the eye exam. She seemed very rushed, and gave me no information. Her staff were very polite and helpful, but the Dr. Was very confrontational with me, and had no desire to hear me. She dismissed my answers and stated that it was not possible for me to see that well

I’ve been seeing Dr Marouf for over 15 years, beginning with a somewhat emergency situation. She and her staff have always been completely on top of my care and procedures. She is one of the finest doctors I’ve known. She is a straight shooter and efficient both in her words and her appointments. I generally have very quick visits which I very much appreciate. Yet she’s willing to answer any questions I have, and I always have many. I always refer any friends needing a retina specialist to Dr Marouf!

From the moment I walked through the front doors of Dr. Marouf's office, everyone was so friendly. I was by myself and very scared to learn about my new diagnosis of Age Related Macular Degeneration, at age 57. Both Louis and Blanca performed tests before I saw Dr. Marouf. Germany’s 800-year-old seaport, Hamburg, played host to Rotary International last week, and my wife and I were there, thanks to Dr. Lina Marouf and the staff at Retina Associates of South Texas. The afternoon before our flight, I was stunned to see brightly colored lights in one eye. Reached after hours, Dr. Marouf said to be at the office at 8 am. I DRIVE IN FROM HOUSTON, TEXAS TO SAN ANTONIO ONCE A YEAR JUST TO HAVE DR. MAROUF CHECK MY EYES AFTER HAVING HOLE IN MACULAR SURGERY. SHE IS SO CARING AND SO EASY TO TALK TO AND I FEEL SO CONFIDENT KNOWING THAT I HAVE HAD A COMPLETE EXAMINATION AND A COMPLETE EXPLAINATION OF ANY FINDING REGARDING MY EYESITE. I HAVE SUCH RESPECT FOR HER AND THIS PRACTICE. THANK YOU AND YOUR STAFF DR. MAROUF.

Quite frankly, Dr. Marouf is rude to her staff. The physician spent more time finding out which technician roomed my father tha her actual assessment. She was blatantly upset due to a screen not being pulled. Granted, I understand her argument of slowing her down, but her desire to rub it in the technicians face was not only unprofessional but a waste of time. Coming from a person who also is a part of the medical field, this is not the way nor time to handle this matter.

I have been seeing Dr Marouf for several years. She reattached my retina with great precision. I have always been treated with quality care. Dr Marouf is a doctor I would recommend without hesitation. Her staff is friendly and well qualified.
