Great Turkish Restaurant!!!! – The food is amazing! We order the hummus appetizer which came with olive oil. For the main I ordered smoked eggplant salad was so delicious! After we went to the New York Comedy Club, and bought discount Tickets online at Best Comedy Tickets . com Delicious food, and Great Comedy Show! I love New York :))
Band-aid Salad – I went here on a Saturday night with a group of couples, and everything was great, until the band-aid salad arrived. One of the people I was with took a bite of a delicious tomato salad, only to spit out a band-aid. Needless to say, none of us much of an appetite after the 'Band-aid Surprise Salad', and to make matters worse, we were only comped one entree as an apology - not much for customer service.
authentic Turkish; delicious – I usually get a lamb dish which is always delicious, plus appetizers. I have lived in Turkey and can say the food at this place is authentic and very good. The restaurant is quite small but it is comfortable and a good place to either eat with friends or dine alone. I often get delivery which arrives in a half hour or so.
Cozy Little Spot – I went here for a friend's birthday and we had a great time. This cozy (6 table) place has great Turkish food with huge portions. One of my favorite parts were the dips - hummus and others - that come served with warm bread. Their salads are great and their entrees are good sized. Not to mention it's BYOB. Cute little find!
Never delivered my food – I ordered through Seamless over 2 hours ago. They said my food would be here within 45 minutes. To top it off, they're not picking up the phone so I can't even complain to say I haven't gotten my food. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Just like back in Izmir – I spent the last school year working and living in Turkey, so I'm very familiar with Turkish cuisine, and this place had it down perfectly. I couldn't believe how tiny the dining room was and there was only a curtain between us and the kitchen, but the food was delicious and our waiter couldn't have been nicer. Everything tasted authentic and it was a really great, romantic dinner. I had the doner and girlfriend had the adana kebap. They were both amazing. I would highly recommend checking this place out soon. They have only been open for five months or so, and it's still BYOB. best turkish taste – 101 is an original turkish restaurant where you can get your hands on to a real turkish taste in new york. very similar to what you can find in istanbul. although very small, it's clean, simple and you get tasty turkish dishes at reasonable prices. they deliver too.
