NEGATIVE 10 STARS :((( Zero stars is more like it... We went here Saturday night. The little Manager lady there (whom I'm told is actually the owner) was so incredibly rude to us, we walked out. At first, I thought Limon grill was going to be just another overpriced Mexican resturant, but was pleased to find them serving a good mix Latin/South American dishes on the menu (even though some weren't as "authentic" as I remember them. However, the service is always decent and I haven't been disappointed yet with any of the menu items (and we've been back several times). Needs a better chef – This restaurant has the potential to be great but instead completely lacks the expertise to prepare great tasting latin food. Not even the basic latin foods are good here. The prices are too high for the food and drinks. Happy hour should include a signature drink. I've been there a few times and have been disappointed each time because for the price I pay, I never left thinking it was well worth it.
Limon Grill is A+ Usually I never write about a restaurant unless its bad. Tonight was my Dads Birthday and I heard about this restaurant. I live in NO HO and it was totally worth the drive....The food was A+ The service was A+....The music was great...Then I met the management and they were incredible people....No wonder the place was packed...I will be back soon...
Save yourself don't go there... – The menu is misleading and the food is just AWEFUUUUUUUUL and expensive. My co-worker and I couldn't think of a last time we had such a horrible experince...food, service, all and all is Terrible.
Doc and Doc I have been all over the country, as well as, the world; my wife and I truly love the food at Limon. The drinks were also pretty good. I think what we really appreciate about Limon is the diversity of the food, as well as the diversity of the people who frequent this establishment. Friday evenings at Limon, sitting on the terrace listening to good jazz and having some delectable BBQ ribs is my idea of nirvana! We highly recommend!
Not a a good experience at all! – I took my parents there for dinner one Friday night. It was bad all around. Service was just ok, food was either tasteless or way too salty. The dishes were way too pretentious. Too much going on, on the plate. Less is more I say. I'm a cook and the dishes have too many ingredients. I agree with the first review about the chips and sauce. Latin flavor in Simi! The food was OK. We shared some appetizers and they were all good. They have great happy hour specials and the service is good. I have been there when they have live entertainment and it was decent. Would recommend.
