We've been taking our fur babies to Limestone Vet since moving to the Hockessin area over 15 years ago. To us finding a caring, capable, and compassionate Vet is as important to us as selecting a neighborhood and community to live in and we (pardon the pun) extensively 'vet' our Veterinary choices whenever we move and we've moved quite often before settling in Hockessin. We love Limestone. With two aging pets, we have been in to see Dr. MacGregor for an assortment of issues recently. Every time we are in, the staff is kind and sweet to our animals, and go out of the way to explain things to my three year old daughter (who is convinced that she wants to be a vet). One of the techs even brought in a Doppler once so that she could hear our cat’s heartbeat. My puppy has been ill for approximately a month with soft stools and diarrhea. Several hundred dollars later my sweet boy is still ill. This practice reminds me of the weatherman - all speculation, no concrete facts. Worse yet is their lack of gratitude for my business. Horrible!

I called yesterday and asked to have my Australian Labradoodle seen, she had been sick for a few days. They had me come in right away and she was seen by Dr. Robert MacGregor. He and his assistant were great. Kind and caring to my dog, and listened to my concerns in trying to figure out what was going on with her. The Doctor was just so sweet with my dog - very heartwarming when she has been so sick. The front desk was friendly too- and that's always a plus! Thank you all for you kindness.
