I had a really terrible experience here. It is very clear that you’re just a number to them. Leaving my appointment yesterday was the first time I’ve felt anything but excited about my pregnancy. While some of the staff were friendly and tried to turn my experience around after one of the receptionists made me cry, I still don’t like the fact that you barely ever get to meet with the actual OB. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Garza. This was our 4th baby, but first time seeing a different provider than my other 3 baby’s and it was a beautiful experience even though I was nervous switching offices. Forever thankful to Dr. Garza and his staff!
I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Garza. From the very beginning, he has been incredibly patient, attentive, and kind — never once making me feel like just another number. What stood out most to me is that he truly believed me when I expressed concerns about my high-risk pregnancy. He listened, took me seriously, and acted with care and urgency. I transferred my care here from a doctors office that was far from my house (I was initially booked with that office as an emergency visit for bleeding in early pregnancy and got stuck there) I ultimately decided to transfer my care and come see Dr Garza Instead, who was much closer. I got to meet him today and he was very informative, made me feel very comfortable about my second birth, and didn’t rush me at all. I went here for my first ever pap and breast exam. The office was nice and very well kept. I was impressed. However, when I got my breast exam, the woman performing it laughed at me. I do not have very symmetrical breasts and one even needs a lift.. I am only 28 years old and she laughed and told me that she noticed that they were not symmetrical and then proceeded to tell me that it’s just going to get worse as I age and even after children.
