This was my first time ever getting box braids, and unfortunately, I feel like the stylist took advantage of the fact that I didn’t know what the normal pricing should be. She charged me $450 for the service, which I later found out was extremely expensive compared to what other salons charge for similar box braids. Best braids I've ever had! Lily's the best!
I have officially found me a braider in Costa Mesa. Lily fit me in late Sunday due to me being unhappy with my new style. She did exactly what I wanted taking her time while providing excellent customer service. Me not returning would be a big mistake for me. It is quite unfortunate that I have to write this review. However, I wasted $400 for Lily to install bora bora braids only to have the hair falling out the next day. A total of $770 with the human hair and the style didn't even last a month and now I am having to take it down. I consulted with a braider in Los Angeles and was told that she added synthetic hair to the human hair ends which is not what I asked for. The two fibers do not mix.
