I really had hoped this place would have been my new dental office after my last dental office changed tremendously and none of the original staff/dentists remained. I was referred here by a previous office manager at that office because she said Travis was a nice person. Let me start off by saying that every person within this huge company is *nice*, except the front desk staff at the Flower Mound office. If you have an ongoing dental problem that won't go away and no one can seem to find what the hell is going on, go here! They know what they are doing! After three years and four other dentists the pain is gone.
The staff are very nice but if you are a patient who may have financial difficulties, I highly recommend finding another dental office. I was encouraged to take on a Care Credit card but it was not fully explained to me that they would max out the card without actually having received that amount of work on my teeth. I am now stuck with an $800 bill for a few fillings and a couple of cleanings. Not worth the expense!

Please stay away from this place!!! I have never been so mistreated in my life. The doctor was horribly rude and judgmental. See have a lot of problem teeth. He basically said that it was my fault, due to my "lifestyle" as he put it. Insinuating that I was a druggie or something. Told me my teeth were too messed up to even bother with and did absolutely nothing to help me. I was in tears when I left. Just a terrible experience all the way around. Atkinson pushed 68 yr old diabetic to get a tooth removed to make room for a crown. There were other safer alternatives but not pursued. All that led to an infection that could have killed him.Dr A was also very patronizing and condescending to women. He has a different associate every year - can't count on seeing anyone but A. :-( And appointment reminder system is like a needy boyfriend. If you don't respond immediately (and even if you do) you are hounded - email, calls, texts.
