Wow I wish I could give more than five stars, truly. I just had my baby 3 days ago and I cannot express my gratitude enough for all the amazing staff at Lilac. I loved all the providers but I have to especially shout out Jennifer Murphy who helped us make the hard decisions when our baby was at risk and Dr. Nguyen who gave us the most incredible birth experience I could have asked for when things were painful and scary. I have had an incredible experience with the Gilbert office. I have had exploratory surgery with Dr. Adams. She explained everything and answered questions until I felt comfortable. The diagnosis was scary but she Asian spent time with me until I was comfortable and answered my questions about the surgeon I need to see next. I have also had other tests here and the staff has been kind, explained what they were doing, and answered my questions until I understood. This is the first Ob-Gyn where I have felt comfortable.
Great provider and facility in a convenient location right off the 202 near Higley/Ray.
I had a yearly check up with Shauna Evanson. It was the worst appt I have ever had. She came in very rushed. Never asked if I had any problems/concerns just rushed into my pap smear. She never preformed a breast exam. I had to stop her from leaving and asked about a bump in my armpit. She did put gloves back on to check but mentioned “your mammogram would cover all that” I had to ask questions quickly as she was trying to leave. I would never recommend.
The provider I saw was knowledgeable, but seemed to have their own agenda on my treatment plan rather than asking me if it was what I was interested in doing. After I had mentioned I've experienced unwanted side effects, I was told to just check in with a different specialty to make sure that organ is okay. Never was asked if the side effect was worth it for me. I also had asked about that medication's timing and efficacy, and their answer was not correct.
