I have 3 kids scheduled for an afternoon appointment and called at 6am leaving a message to cancel because 2 of them are puking, they said if I didn’t bring them in I would be charged 75$ each kid. I told them I would bring them in puking and they said ok see you this afternoon! No understanding or empathy for children/sickness. Will not be returning

I called this office because my daughter had a toothache. I specifically asked if the provider was in-network and if a same-day appointment was available, and I was told yes to both. I also confirmed through my insurance policy his name was showing as in network but later insurance said since his office address billed you was different then he is treated as out of network Unfortunately, after the visit, we discovered the provider was not in network, and we were billed out of network. I highly recommend Lil Smiles pediatric dentistry located in San Diego, specifically in the Mission Valley area. The scheduling, staff, and facility were all so welcoming and made attending my son’s first dentist appointment pleasant and memorable! The office was super clean and very kid friendly (also parent friendly with a super cute coffee station). Dr. Toppi's staff were always professional, kind and courteous. Dr. Toppi was responsive to all of my questions, and even after we moved and needed a dental screening form completed, the staff were willing to accommodate us. Thank you so much!
