Me and my dad went to little Ray's in long beach today for a late lunch. I had the popcorn shrimp plate and he had the fried grouper sandwich. Now at 9 pm here we are with food poisoning.
I've come to Lil Ray's for a while now. The food is always good and I'd recommend it to anyone. However my visit today was anything but pleasant. While the food was good as always, the two employees on the floor projected negativity. From the moment my family and I walked in until the time we left all we heard was the employees trash talking other employees from another shift. Our server, her name is Stacy, was too preoccupied with complaining about co-workers to tend to our table like she should have. Very unprofessional.
Great Coastal Southern Cuisine. Friendly staff and casual atmosphere in quaint area of town. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
