Since last September I been to there ER 5 times. Yes the wait is brutal, yes they leave your ass in a hallway sometimes. Yes its usually crowded.... its a hospital. This is how all hospitals are. Except the hallway thing. That pissed me off. 21 hrs. Once admitted, they get thier shit together. Its a good hospital once out of the ER. People should know ..... I bring a blanket, laptop, tablet, phone, chargers, book, magazines. You gotta prepare yourself people.
I wrote a review for this emergency room before and I am sorry to say that my 1-star review hasn’t changed. I took dad to urgent care at 5pm for numbness in his feet and radiating pain in his legs. For fear of a possible blood clot or DVT, we were told to go to our nearest ER and get an ultrasound, which happened to be LIJ. As soon as we got here, it was chaos. We got here at 6:40pm. Very bad service long time waiting please no visit
This review is for a phenomenal employee: I took my mom to the E.R. Yesterday and was lucky enough to encounter a nurse named Joenelle K. All I can say is he was absolutely outstanding from the moment we approached the front desk. He was welcoming, kind, empathetic, professional, and most importantly, swift in checking my mom in who was suffering from dehydration.
the unacceptable and unsafe treatment I received during my visit to this emergency department today. I was placed in a dirty room with visible blood on the floor. I waited in the back for over two hours without so much as a greeting or introduction from any staff member, including a nurse. I have osteomyelitis and possible sepsis, yet I was left sitting there in severe pain without any assessment, monitoring, or basic concern for my condition.
