This place is just horrible. 0stars. You never see the same doctor ever. The nurses and doctors have no idea about info on the patient. You go in there with a symptom and come out with more. It’s a money maker off your insurance. They don’t give their patients any hope of survival or try to help. It’s better to just skip this hospital all together. The only reason I am giving this hospital two stars instead of one is because of three wonderful nurses and one kind anesthesiologist who showed professionalism and compassion. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing due to poor communication and lack of bedside manner from several other staff members. My sister had surgery yesterday and was placed in the C-100 section afterward. This is my story of what happened to me yesterday in the ER at Northwell LIJ New Hyde Park. I'm a 58 year old female arriving with tightning and chest pain. I was triage and asked to sit down and wait to be called. After few mins a tech came and picked me up for an EKG then asked me to sit and wait to bbe called. After 30 mins I was called and taken to a waiting area were Isat for 40 mins waiting for a room. Worst hospital ever as a 23 year old patient I had a leg injury and fell out the car the whole time being there I didn’t get treated for my injuries and I got discharged and was waiting in the waiting area in pain on a wheelchair so I tried to leave and get up I collapsed and fell and nobody helped me get up a random male nurse had to pick me up and put me back on the wheelchair the people that worked here is so rude unprofessional and awful and doing this for a paycheck

Dr olshin and the nurses, among side the anesthesia team were fantastic at their jobs, very attentive and very good with hospitality
