I Wore the same dirty clothes for 5 days straight, no bra or underwear allowed, the food is awful, basically confined to an extremely uncomfortable bed 20 hours of the day. Unable to shower, no soap, no shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush are jail quality, no skin care, my skin broke out horrible and I was oily and smelly the entire time. Well, it's not me.It's my daughter and I feel like they try that alienates the parents from their kids.And then the older girls in there.My daughter is nineteen and she's in the mommy in me program with older women that are picking on her and the staff didn't do nothing about it and then they baby, my daughter like she hasn't just had a baby and they treat her like she's still a kid, but they need to talk to her like a dog.And even when she gets angry they need to deal with that

VERY UNSANITARY. I got a foot infection after leaving here because they gave me a wet pair of new socks. Bathrooms were really dirty and drinking fountain wreaks of fecal matter. Staff is cruel to the patients, they always threatened to lock people in the back/give them Haldol. I saw them do it to at least 5 patients while there for 36 hours. No one deserved it. I’d give this critical stabilization unit zero stars. Incredibly poorly staffed. Incompetence and ignorance around every corner. Including a humiliating, verbally abusive, and very uncomfortable environment. Would be afraid to have my dog do the 54 hours I did in this God forsaken place. Should be shut down. Shame on the mental health care system in SW Florida and our State and Federal government for supporting this model of mental health “stabilization”.
