From a GEICO claim, the dispatcher continued to add 60minutes to my estimated time, and purposefully kept the time estimate broad and nonspecific, even after I had politely and firmly asked them them for solid information.

I was assigned this company by GEICO and I was met with constant excuses about why the driver was delayed. This is only to fix a flat in my driveway! I was told that the dispatched driver had a tire blowout and needed to be towed. This is a towing company, wouldn’t it make sense for another driver to pick up my job?! I was told immediately on the first call to give the driver 5 stars or they wouldn’t be able to get another job, maybe there’s a reason why. On the 7th of July my battery died and roadside came to my rescue. Dan was extremely helpful and also went as far to check my alternator to see if that was the problem or my battery. He got me up and running with a simple boost and I was on my way. They also quoted me an hour but he was there in 25 minutes was so thankful for that because it was hot outside.

My car battery died and I needed a simple jumpstart. GEICO dispatched this company to help me out. I figured it’d be a quick fix, but instead, I ended up stranded for three hours. Every time I called to check in, Lightning Roadside just said they were “backed up” and to keep waiting. No real updates, no timeline, just the same line over and over.
