My car battery died and I needed a simple jumpstart. GEICO dispatched this company to help me out. I figured it’d be a quick fix, but instead, I ended up stranded for three hours. Every time I called to check in, Lightning Roadside just said they were “backed up” and to keep waiting. No real updates, no timeline, just the same line over and over. I was told a driver arrival time was estimated 60min and he would call when 20min away. Driver called an hour after waiting to tell me, he is an hour away. I am furious, driver states he was coming from freeport, ny but where I was located does not take 2hours or even 1hr to get to. Geico representative called company and was told driver should arrive in 30min not an hour. I am currently still here waiting with no call from driver. Total scum. They’re scammers, Geico roadside assistance assigned me them and the company just keeps telling me it’s gonna be another hour. Freezing my ass off outside decided to look up the company here and see they just scam geico roadside assistance. NEVER USE THEM.

Pure waste of time. Told me they cant come on the highway, then why are you in business? Ridiculous! Ended up changing tire myself.
