I was in there last year and had a very enjoyable experience. Going back again this week for another great time. This is not just buying opals from a shop and walking out. The staff make you feel welcome, impart knowledge and carefully guide you through your decision making. And they show you some cool pet reptiles while at it. Real good old-fashioned customer service interactions that I sometimes crave for in this digital online world of shopping.

loved the tutorial on how different types of opal jewelry are made and looking at all of the different jewelry they had in store. my friend and i got opal rings together to commemorate our friendship and our trip to australia. had so much fun, and they also helped us with what to do to get the tax refund and the airport.

An absolutely fantastic little shop/museum for anyone interested in learning or purchasing opals either raw or polished there’s something for everyone and every budget. The young gentleman was incredibly friendly, helpful and went out of his way to give us some education on everything to do with Australian Opals. He brought out the lizards and frogs they have there, my 5 year old absolutely loved it. Can’t recommend this place enough, absolutely loved it. 10 stars.
