Super cool!! Feels like walking into a nerd paradise!!! So many machines, so much to do!! Great gym! Plus there is a doggy named Thor walking around!
I’ve been coming here for almost a year now, and it’s been nothing short of a 10/10 experience. As someone who was new to the gym, the community and overall environment made it easy to stay motivated and consistent. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the energy pushes you to improve every time you walk in. Lighting has some of the best and most versatile equipment you’ll find anywhere in CT. I highly recommend this gym to anyone, whether you’re just starting out or have been training for years.
I’ve been to many great gyms in my life, but there is no place like Lightning Fitness in South Windsor, CT. Not only does Lightning provide the best equipment when it comes to all things fitness, Lightning Fitness brings an environment and energy like no other. Owned by Matt Mills, Matt has created an atmosphere where everyone is accepted for who they are and is supported on their journey of fitness no matter the level. I am humbled and proud to be apart of such an awesome community. I can not recommend this facility enough!
Just a few glimpses of the Strongest Gym in New England. It is a private owned gym owned by Matt Mills who will host events. He absolutely has us spoiled rotten with this 24 hour facility that’s opened 7 days a week YEAR ROUND! He truly shows passion for our strongman sports, powerlifting, boxing, MMA. This gym makes you excited to work out. Went for my walkthrough today and immediately signed up after. Super friendly staff and there is not a piece of equipment that this gym does not have.
