"Dr." Ross argued with me about what I could see clearly. He won and sent me out into the world with contacts so blurry I couldn't even read the road signs. On my follow up, I finally won and got clearer contacts that time, which I had to wait for since he didnt have my brand. He argued with me about brands too - obviously gets kick backs from the company. I've been wearing contacts for 30 years so I do know which brand my eyes prefer. Appointment was awkward and drawn out. Went in for a contact appointment and somehow only received a prescription for glasses so when I went in to order I had to wait until the doctor was in again to pick up a contact prescription because the vision center doesn’t keep patient on file from the actual eye doctor. Being They are closed 4 days in a row and I live out of town this was pretty inconvenient.
I had a great experience at Lighthouse Vision today. Dr. Ross is personable and through in explaining tests & their purpose; I especially appreciate that he makes an effort to mitigate some of the "user-error" in the tests I've always found baffling, where you're self-reporting "What looks better?" re: your potential prescription. It was one of my more pleasant eye exams in the 23 years I've been wearing glasses/contacts.
