I’ve stayed in countless local motels across northern Michigan, and I have to say, the Lighthouse View in Mack City is among the best. The rate was reasonable, the front desk was friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and clean. Didn’t get to try out the pool or hot tub but hopefully next time. I also like that this motel is not part of the large conglomerate of hotels under the same ownership in Mackinaw City. Looking forward to staying at the Lighthouse View again!
Went in Saturday and staff was amazing. It was their last day open. Great staff and easy to find location. I would highly recommend staying here.
No shower curtain in our room our door didn't close tight. Came back from shopping and just pushed open. No one at the front desk to request a new room. The owner called me and just said it's an old building and my staff works 6 months straight so they are bound to forget a shower curtain.
Lady at the front desk was super sweet, great location, rooms seem newly remodeled however walls are paper thin and you could hear everything. People going up and down the stairs, getting in and out of their cars, "relations", all night. I had to sleep with a pillow over my ears to get some sleep.
