Room 106 has mold on the silicone above the shower. Pool has mold on some flat surfaces like the signs and some water outlets. Pretty gross, you should clean that up.
We just left this motel (9/1/25) and what a great place! We stayed in room 202 (2nd level) which had a very nice view of the bridge from the window or just outside the door. Very clean, family owned and operated. The rooms aren't anything fancy but we weren't expecting them to be. The pool/hot tub is clean and nice. Wonderful place to stay. Owner friendly & very accommodating. Our room was 2 queen beds & it was huge. Very clean & provided room cleaning daily. Great shower. Pool & hot tub was clean & towels provided. Location was perfect right across from lighthouse & last exit off I75 before the bridge. Highly recommend this hotel. Only complaint beds were too firm for my liking.
We had a handicap room (102) which appeared to be newly remodeled from top to bottom. Both main area and bathroom were very large. Mattresses and Linens were nice. Check in was quick and easy. Front desk was very helpful and answered questions about the area. Location is perfect. It is across the street from the lake and within walking distance to all of the stores, restaurants, activities and ferries to the island. Definitely a great value!
