Lighthouse Title Company nearly killed the sale of the property for me. This company was two weeks late with the title inspection - normally, this is done within 48 hours. Closing forms that should have been digitally created for the sale were, instead, old photocopied forms, scanned crookedly and illegibly. Final forms that were needed to be sent had to be requested two and three times before delivery. There are many other fine companies here in Michigan that are timely and technologically up-to-date. We worked with Amanda Ives, who was especially helpful as we tried to understood tax details on our transaction. We also appreciated the upfront prices and quotes the company provided in their online quoting system (didn't even need to talk to a person). Just a few months before we had worked with Sun Title and they surprised us at the last minute with a bonus closing cost, besides other high costs we discovered near the end of the process.

Our recent closing was on time and very well organized. All the documents were correct and we were done in 30 minutes . Everyone was very friendly, we were pleased.
