Had a great time on this excursion. Our tour guide on the bus and boat were both very knowledgeable and the staff on the boat was friendly and knowledgeable. We saw 6 eagles and then the totems and lighthouse.
Can't see the Totem poles they look like light pioles sticking in the ground from the boat. On ramp is extremely inclined they actually tied a rope to a wheelchair. Not handicap accessible/friendly. Stairs on boat are steep and narrow. Not worth the money. View of lighthouse is also from the water and not real good either.
Captain Jeff was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The crew were very helpful. I'd recommend Lighthouse Totems and Eagles to anyone visiting Ketchikan. Thanks
This excursion was an opportunity to get away from it all. It warmed my heart to share this fabulous experience with Wanda. I believe that my green picture of Danger Island captures the spirit of Danger Island.
Definitely a 5 star tour, very knowledgable and friendly. Lots of eagles and at least 10 eagle nests. The boat was very comfortable. Captian Rob got as close as possible to as much as he could. Would go on this again, when friends visit Ketchikan.
What a fantastic excursion. From the ability to see amazing bald eagles to the guide (Captain Rob) and the great deckhands, it was wonderful. I can't recommend this enough. A must see excursion in Ketchikan.
By all means you should do this excursion. Crew and Captain did a great job. We saw plenty of whales and a few young eagles. Even served snacks.
We thought the excursion was fantastic! Captain Rob was an expert and made our 3 hour cruise amazing! The guys helping out were the best too... Salmon dip to die for... Best hot chocolate in Ketchikan! My favorite was being greeted by Captain Ron and his beautiful dog Greta... I would highly reccommend this excursion to all people visiting Ketchikan. Forget about the shops... This trip is priceless and will leave you with many lasting memories and a sense of spiritual peace... Thank you to Captain Rob and his team!
