I really liked Lighthouse Car Wash, however, it has been sold to Jax Carwash and they don't answer the phone. I am trying to figure out if all of my coupon books (which my kids bought me for birthdays and Christmas) are now invalid. I will have to find another independent car wash I guess.
Tried to charge me $72 today for a car wash that their sign said costs $18. Normally I'm very happy with the outcomes of Lighthouse Car Wash (especially the free vacuum cleaners), but this was just predatory.
It's nice. I like it because I can hide from my babymama in here. She'd never assume that I'd get my car cleaned.
I went to the self car wash area. I saw the sign posted there stating it was $3 and I swiped my card and got approximately 5 minutes to wash my car. Once I finished I drove home and found I was charged $10 instead of $3. This was the first time I used the credit card form of payment at this establishment and the last time.
