I have been in inhome counseling with lighthouse for several months. I have made a lot of progress thanks to them and if you want the best consolers around, call lighthouse.
Do NOT recommend couples counseling at LBHC:. First, their method doesnt even screen for *abuse* & avoids using the term altogether. I've since learned that *abuse* (let's call it what it is) is not a frustrating inability to communicate. Secondly: Encouraging both partners to be assertive in an office setting without screening/recognizing abuse is a really horrible (& potentially dangerous) idea.
