I love my therapist but the room we meet in on the top floor corner of always cold and I have to wrap up in a blanket just to stay warm.
Honestly terrible experience. The counselor was late, didn’t know our names, and admitted to us he never read our chart. Acted like he could absolutely care less about us. We tried to be up front that we didn’t want a book study, we wanted to focus on talk therapy and he seemed irritated and told us to take over since “we were in charge.” We left mid session. It was awful. I highly recommend that everyone avoid.
Emily, my counselor, has been such a blessing in my life. Everytime we meet, she imparts some incredible advice that helps me in dealing with my mentally ill daughter. God and her years of experience in the mental/psychological field have imbued her with an incredible fount of wisdom which she compassionately extends. Her ability to quietly listen and give feedback has helped me tremendously.
