Lifestance made me feel cared about and respected after not feeling that way for so long from other places/med teams.
Absolutely terrible experience. 2 months in I am being charged hundreds of dollars on my card and they can't tell me why or what it's for. Treated like an adversary when I was unable to access my appointments on mobile devices. They have pulled my previous review but I'll keep speaking out. Stay far away from this company !! At least for telehealth
I absolutely loved my therapist and med doctor, and I am sad to make the decision to leave, but I am so fed up with their billing team. I work in billing and their billing statements are so confusing and unclear. They also don't display the charges per appointment with insurance at all online, unless it's your statement. Their insurance estimates were always incorrect, which I have a very reputable insurance company so for it to be so far off is just a mess. I have been really let down by these guys regarding a medication refill. It is not a controlled substance, and I have been told by at least two people that it would be an allowed refill as long as the appointment was scheduled. Now I’m being told something different. Therapist= awesome. Medication department is not. You either get ignored or told conflicting things while you run completely out of your medication.
It is very hard to get someone from billing to call me back. I have had billing concerns since November 2023 that are not taken care of yet. I have been told that a formal complaint was put in for my concerns. That was a month ago with no response. I leave voicemails and send messages to billing on the patient portal with no response.
