I’m deeply disappointed by the unprofessional conduct of one of the RNs, Khris. She made an uncalled-for and highly inappropriate comment in front of a client, directed toward staff — something that no professional should ever do, especially in a care setting. Lifespark was visiting me at my home every month and then all of a sudden, they fired the two people that were alternating months and I have never heard from them again.
Lifespark Hospice has so many of the most caring and compassionate clinicians. Bless you all!
Just a candid warning to any nurse considering applying here. I believe Joel had an incredible vision when he founded Lifespark—“Age Magnificently” is truly inspiring! The concept of helping seniors stay in their homes and having services brought directly to them is outstanding. However, working as a skilled nurse here often falls short of that ideal. This is the second time we have used Life Spark for my mom and they have been wonderful! PT Julie, OT Anne and CNA Katie are the best. Always have been very caring and competent in making sure my mom met her goals. I would also like to give a shout out to their 24/7 nursing line. The time I called the nurse was very helpful and compassionate. I dropped one star though for social services which was worthless in my opinion.
