My experience has been pathetic at LifeLabs, 600 Sherbourne. It seems they are unsure of what an appointment means! I had an appointment specifically at the noon in between of my work. I was there at the venue 5 mins well before my appointment time and have submitted my health card alongwith requisite documents. I always email my requisitions to their email with my name in the subject line. When I attended my scheduled appointment on July 17 at 11:30 am, the two ladies at the desk were chatting/laughing for 10 minutes before greeting me while I stood there patiently. A line began to form behind me. When they finally greeted me, one lady asked for my health card which I provided and walked away. Another lady asked for my requisition and I explained that I had emailed it to them. She said that requisitions are deleted from the system ... read more
The receptionist is quite rude. I had an appointment but forgot my requisition form, and only realized this when I reached the desk. I relayed this information to the woman, expected a simple “sorry, we won’t be able to see you today without the form”, but she just stared at me and said “so what is going to happen?” And then continued staring at me until I said I’d schedule another appointment and left. Very disappointing to have such blatant rudeness and lack of communication skills.
More staff is needed here. I wasn’t able to make an appointment, but I walked in, and was told I would have to wait for 1 hour. I left and came back in 45 minutes, only to learn that I have to wait for an additional hour because they are ‘so short staffed’. Just for context, I’m fasting and I’m being asked to wait 2 hours for a simple blood test (that takes 5 minutes). Clearly this clinic needs more staff, so please, HIRE MORE STAFF. The woman in the reception wearing a hijab significantly lacks customer service skills. June 20, 2025. Other than that I never had a problem in this place, the other ladies are pleasant.
