I strongly advise against using LifeDNA. Their main focus seems to be pushing expensive add-on "testing" and reports rather than providing straightforward, valuable DNA insights from the initial kit. Worse, their system double-charged my credit card and shipped me two test kits instead of one. I returned the extra kit, but they only issued a partial refund for their obvious billing/ordering error. They refused to make it right fully, despite it being entirely their mistake. I bought the $79 report because ANCESTRY already had my DNA. When I received my report the Methylation report was not included, which is why I wanted the tests done. Of course they offered an up-sale to get the info. Doubt if I will do it because the info they did provide was not even close to being accurate for me!!!! Hard to trust when they got the basic info wrong!!!

I used my DNA results from Ancestry to get my genetic methylation test and it was disappointing. The report is filled with terms like "May have" and several of the genetic markers have little testing to back them up. The actionable items were vague and just tells you to see your doctor for further assistance. More information specific to you is available if you want to purchase more data about your DNA. I found that a little irritating. Either provide the results or don't. Not really sure what parts of the report I can even ... read more

The customer service was really good to resolve a misunderstanding when I ordered my service. It was my first time and I am very satisfied with the service.
