The absolute worst experience with Vilma Ramos. I actually had to a file a complaint to New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and then filed another complaint with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) about her. Shes unprofessional, she does more harm than good. Please do not let anyone be fooled by her or this company. They have no idea what they're doing in in regard to billing department either. They charged cards without authorization. The place is a complete fraud from start to finish.
This place is absolutely ridiculous. I had called the office to make an appointment on 12/22. The woman over the phone (Dawn) confirmed it for 12/30 with Vilma Ramos. My appointment was for 2:00. I sat in the waiting room for 20 mins and there was no Vilma insight. There wasn’t a receptionist desk either, you sat in the waiting room until your counselor came out to get you. HIDDEN FEES! I needed a letter written and the cost was $130, which I was fine with. However, that price was not clearly communicated beyond what was listed on the consent form that i signed before i even saw my therapist, and my therapist did not remind me of the charge when I requested a letter. I only became aware of the cost after it was withdrawn from my bank account, which felt dishonest. I did call and complain about it, and the response was "You should have read the consent form".
