The donor centre was clean, welcoming, and very well organised, making the whole experience comfortable. Janine was incredibly engaging, professional, and explained every step of the donation process clearly. Thank you to the entire team for providing such excellent care and service.
The lady at the reception desk isn’t the friendliest. She talked and responded as if she either didn’t want us or herself to be there; not sure which one. This was my first impression about this location, mind you lol. Really off putting. We were nothing but nice and polite when we showed up. Ended up not donating that day. Eh, good thing then since I don’t really do my blood donation in this location anyway; I’ll be sure to continue to do so in the future 🤷♀️
This was my first time donating plasma here in Australia and I was so glad I chose this location. My experience was great! From the first step, when they confirmed my appointment and information (Lokita was the one who assisted me and she’s good at what her doing). Then James, who completed my other information before I sat down to the donation chair, he’s also good and I can feel that he’s doing his best so I will not get nervous with the process. Everyone here makes donation such a pleasant experience. I come here every two weeks so have been acquainted with a lot of the customer-facing staff. They do a brilliant job and their work is never not appreciated by the donors. Special mention to Jackie at reception and Maryam, one of the nursing assistants, and all of the volunteers I have met.
