Thanks to the crew for looking after me during my visit. Although I was late, the gang didn’t hold it against me ;), was welcomed and sat into a meeting room then plasma donating chair all fairly quickly. I did enjoy the smaller clinic in comparison to larger on in the city arcade and that of some of the southern clinics I.e Marion. T.V with day time telly was a good distraction, as is the cool drinks etc so thank you again for plying me sweet milky drinks as well! Like some others, I was a bit nervous before my first donation, but because of the incredibly friendly and helpful staff plus multiple donations later, I'm all too willing to keep donating for the benefit of those that need it most. Hell I'd even give up a kidney or part of my liver if they said that someone needed it to survive because why wouldn't I would give anything to help those in need. Can't wait for my next donation.

This is the 3rd time I have attended on a Friday to find there was next to no staff and a significant delay in time to donate. I was not told this prior to doing the questionnaire but I heard one patron being told so I enquired. I had popped there during my working day and can't sit there for an additional 50 minutes. I understand staff sickness butwhen this happens repeatedly and doners have to be called to cancel them then there should be provisions in place. I left without donating today after walking there and back. More... read more
