The nurse who did my needle, May, did an excellent job - hardly felt the needle go in and I didn't even feel the needle there during the donation! This was a particular relief as I was quite nervous about my first donation. The team were kind and attentive. Thanks guys! Looking forward to hearing about where my donation has gone & what my blood type is! A bucket list item ticked off!

Great experience! I’m needle phobic and don’t love the sight of blood but after Bondi I figured I could be uncomfortable in order to help others. I was very impressed by the whole process - the warm and welcoming reception you get upon entry, the electronic questionnaire, then a personal appointment to check vitals etc, then super caring staff to hook you up and make you comfortable and regular checks through the donation. I've never been here before, hence the three stars because I know they do good work but why does this donation centre close at 2:30? All others in Adelaide are open until 7:30pm. The Red Cross is urgently calling for donations after what happened in Bondi, yet they’re open when people are at work and closed once everyone finishes. It just doesn’t make sense .
