I had my first plasma donation today. Even though I have been to donate blood, Ces (I believe her name was) walked me through everything that was different with a plasma donation. She made me feel at ease and explained everything so thoroughly. I felt truly cared for and it made my donation go so smoothly. I didn’t get a chance to thank her before I left, but thank you very much Ces!
Giving blood or plasma is easy and life giving! Give yourself at least two hours for the appointment though
Gave blood today, all the ladies were lovely went over the top to ensure I was okay considering I was a first timer. Super quick, was offered snacks definitely going back!
First time donor here at this center, and Suzie/Susie (not sure how to spell it), she was so so lovely to me and really brought comfort and warmth during the whole appointment. She went above and beyond to make sure I was always comfortable and feeling okay and replenished with the snacks they generously provided! Loved chatting with her, she made everything a smooth process.
