There's a lot wrong with this LifeTime. I am not sure whether the issue is the quality of the average lifter or a lack of oversight by indifferent staff. Only at the Northbrook LifeTime, where muscle-based BMI is substantially less than the average, will you find dudes unwilling to re-rack weights, re-rack in an improper manner, and utilize machines and other equipment for extensive periods of time. Front staff are very friendly along with the cafe staff. As far as the gym itself, it’s a north shore happy hour. Everyone talks on the phones on the treadmill, on weight machines or just to each other no matter the time you go. This gym is for people with kids has they have a whole floor for kids rather than having basketball, tennis and classes. Even the classes are mixed in with the weight room so you can’t even use the weights or squat racks. They charge you $250 and you can’t even do the classes without paying extra. I ... read more
