Nice Gym This is a well run gym where NORMAL people can work out. Staff is helpful, and they have tons of equipment and a wide variety of classes. Indoor pool and jacuzzi but no outdoor pool.
Nice clean work out facility The Health and Athletic Center in its new building is a great place to sweat by yourself on a machine or in a class. The instructors are quite good. The treadmills, cycles, and eliptical machines all have TVs so you can mindlessly sweat off that doughnut you had in the morning. My only 2 complaints are the restrooms are downstairs only and they cut back on a lot of classes in the summer. PROS: Good location and clean CONS: Bathrooms in basement
Loyal Member We have been members of the HAC for over 5 years. While there are certainly amenities the HAC lacks that you could find at the large gym down the street, the value for what you pay is unbeatable. We love the fact that the Kid's Club is included in the membership cost, and it is open 6 days a week. They have a wide variety of classes, and our kids even took swimming lessons there. Good local gym Established gym with a good reputation and locally owned. Facilites are kept clean, and they have a fair amount of cardio machines. I can't speak to the classes as I haven't done any of those. Nice indoor pool but no outdoor pool at all. Also no raquetball courts. PROS: Clean, decently priced CONS: No outdoor pool, no raquetball courts
