I have used this office intermittently for counseling through the years . Just recently my insurance changed which has resulted in a very high co pay. Luckily I’m in a great place in life where I think I’m okay without therapy. The receptionist in the office Leslie is very helpful and extremely caring. She had recommended a program my work offers to assist me with copays if I wanted to continue therapy. I am thankful for this office and my therapist Eric who assisted me through rough times.

Complicit with NYSDOH +/- the NYS Office of Mental Health to eventually institutionalize residents of NYS who seek therapy using only Medicare + Medicaid. The receptionists explained at unnecessary lengths that if they accepted a client who used Medicaid with Medicare that ”they would get into trouble”. Incidentally this is the same M.O. of mega managed care companies (Ex. UNITED Health) who feign awareness of blindingly obvious social conditions. I brought my teenager to see Margaret “Peggy” Wright. Margaret belittled my daughter during the first in person session. Margaret made my daughter do math to add how “stupid” the actions were my daughter expressed. My ex’s sister & others are asking therapists to play games with me while my daughter is in session & I accompany her. Margaret, you CANNOT focus on the health & well being of the child when you are also trying to play games. That’s messy & repulsing.
