The employee rudy was every rude to me and my family
My family’s experience at the McKees Rocks / Riverside center was unsatisfactory. On multiple occasions staff communication felt dismissive and some interactions lacked basic professionalism. A few team members were excellent, but overall the center seemed understaffed or disorganized. I’d encourage management to improve staff training, responsiveness, and clarity with families so future residents receive consistent, respectful care.
Frankly, it’s been a rough 18 months. I’m grateful I stepped in to advocate for my parent’s safety and care. My goal has been to help give a voiceless person a voice in their own care. I respect LIFE Pittsburgh’s mission and have met dedicated individuals. However, from June 2024 through November 2025 at this center we faced—and continue to face—repeated barriers to basic access, especially slow or unclear approvals for routine and specialist care.
