I was nervous going in. Didn't know what to expect in any way. People, ideas, reactions from my spouse. But immediately I felt at ease with the other couples, validated in a way. Margo, Gerry and Colter were so warm and open. We are only in our first week back, so we have work to do, but I feel more hopeful with the tools and information and guidance we received. I really didn’t know what to expect going into the retreat. I only knew what we were doing wasn’t working and I feared for the future of our marriage. The tools we were given, principles we were taught and the whole set up of the retreat was very effective. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity we had to go to a Life Marriage Retreat. The principles I learned were life changing. The future of my marriage looked very bleak. I believed there was an answer, however, I didn’t know what it was. This was truly an answer to prayers. Much more than I ever expected.
